Short-Term Play Therapy

Short-Term Play Therapy

Evergreen Play Therapy offers all-inclusive, short-term, structured play therapy services for children and families navigating emotional, behavioral, or relational challenges. Each program is designed as a complete therapeutic process—not ongoing care—with a clear beginning, middle, and end.

Choose between 12-week child therapy series or 8-week Family Reset and 12-week Family Reset programs, both created to support meaningful growth through a focused and guided experience.

More information about the child therapy Short-term, structured 12-week series and the Family therapy 8 and 12 week program available in links below.

How It Works

Each program—whether an individual child series or a family therapy series—is offered as an all-inclusive experience with a clear beginning, middle, and end.

Program Structure & Payment

Following the initial assessment, a specific program will be recommended based on clinical perspective and your family’s goals.

Families may choose to:

  • Pay in full at the start of the program, or
  • Pay in two installments at a slightly higher total rate

Programs are reserved in advance and require a signed agreement to hold your family’s place.

Investment & Commitment

Because these services are designed as focused, time-limited therapeutic processes:

  • You may cancel and receive a full refund up to 7 days before your program begins. Once services have started, a portion of the program fee is non-refundable.
  • Your program fee covers all services included within the outlined structure
  • Additional requests (such as extra parent meetings or consultation calls outside the program scope) are available as add-ons and billed separately

Can I Use My Insurance?

Evergreen Play Therapy is an out-of-network provider and does not bill insurance directly. A superbill will be provided for eligible services, which families may submit to their insurance provider for potential reimbursement.

Reimbursement is not guaranteed and varies based on your individual insurance plan. In some cases, a reimbursable diagnosis may not be present or may not be required by your insurance provider for coverage.

If insurance reimbursement is an important consideration, this will be explored during the initial assessment to determine whether a diagnostic framework is appropriate for your child’s care plan.
